church history
In the BeginningThe formation of Jubilare Evangelistic Ministries is the result of Pastor Ronnie E. Walton, Sr. pursuing his vision in compliance with being obedient to God's will. In revealing to his family the avenue God was directing his life, we can assume that although his sons and daughters may have been astonished, we can be assured this revelation did not come as a surprise to his wife Sis. Dorothy. The VisionThis vision became a reality as Pastor Walton proceeded by faith: the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). The name "Jubilare Evangelistic Ministries" was the result of Pastor's petitioning God for a relevant name. The name embraces the spirit of Pastor Walton's vision. On March 7, 1993, with family, a host of friends, and visitors, Jubilare Evangelistic Ministries conducted its first service with many in attendance. Thirty-five people became members.EstablishmentAs the establishment of Jubilare reached others, God's blessings poured forth in abundance in the appearance of material goods, labor, financial assistance, and constructive guidance. God was generous in meeting our immediate needs in addition to providing other items that were beneficial and supportive in establishing a novice church. As membership and ministries increased, the need for additional space became evident. We prayed and the search began for larger accommodations with increased seating and classroom capabilities. On January 8, 1994 we moved from the “garage” to 1513 Sports Drive, Suite 2. As we continued in our growth as a church family, we again petitoned to enlarge our territory. March 12, 2000 we transitioned into our current building.BlessingsThe blessings continued to flow and we, once again, needed additional space. On October 1, 2004, God's blessings enabled us to purchase an adjacent building consisting of 43,123 sq. ft. In purchasing this building we acquired five-tenants; Jubilare occupies 6,900 sq. ft. for Children's Church, youth activities, meetings, social activities, etc.FaithfulnessIn keeping The Vision alive, God is faithful to His Word and continues to bless Jubilare. We are grateful for new mercies, thankful for Pastor Walton and his leadership, families, friends, and for blessings without numbers. We give praises to God for past, present and future blessings, and today we can truly say that this is a day of jubilation. The Jubilare Church Family strives to keep The Vision alive, and as stated in Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish."
