Pastor Ronnie E. Walton, Sr. has served as pastor of Jubilare Evangelistic Ministries since its conception in March 1993. This ministry has been a driven purpose in his life for many years with a tenacious commitment to pastor a church that reaches out to those in need of spiritual guidance. He accepted his call to the ministry in 1975, at St. John Baptist Church in Sacramento, California, under the leadership of the late Pastor William E. Hights.
Pastor Walton served as pastor of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Reno, Nevada from 1979 through 1981. He had the privilege of teaching various classes at the California State Baptist Congress of Christian Education; California State Youth Convention; Billy Graham’s Association; Youth for Christ; Sacramento Youth Authority; Ione California Prison, and conducted home bible study for the former Sacramento Gold Miners Football Team. In June 1997, Pastor Walton had the privilege of sharing the gospel at the International Crusade in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. He is a member of the United Pastors’ of Sacramento, the Natomas Net and involved on an ongoing basis in various community projects. In 2005, he was one of myriad speakers at DaySpring Fellowship Conference in So. California, annually hosted by Dr. Frank and Mrs. P. Bunny Wilson.
He earned a BA Degree in Communication Studies from California State University and an AA Degree in Communications Media from Consumes River College in Sacramento. He acquired additional biblical knowledge from Simpson Bible College and Golden Gate Bible College.
Pastor Walton was born and reared in Sacramento, California and the family continues to reside in this area. He is married to the former Dorothy Brown and they are proud parents of two son, two daughters, a nephew and grandparents of seven grandchildren.
