He is currently a member of the United Pastors of Sacramento, the Natomas Net and is active in various community projects.
While under the leadership of the late Pastor William E. Hights, of St. John Baptist Church of Sacramento, CA, Ronnie Walton accepted his call to the ministry in 1975. From 1979 through 1981 he first served as a Pastor for the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Reno, Nevada. Pastor Walton returned to California to further his purpose in the ministry.
In his compassion for the needs of others in the community and God's calling upon his life, Pastor Walton was led to start a church in obedience to that calling. He sought the Lord in naming his church and the name Jubilare' was revealed to him. Jubilare is derived from the root word jubilation, which is often translated to mean, "shout for joy". Pastor Walton started his church, Jubilare, in his garage on March 7, 1993.
The church has grown to a congregation of over 300 members. God has been faithful and generous in meeting the needs of Jubilare members. To God be the Glory for his continual strengthening of Pastor Walton to complete His purposed work.
